Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2025
Welcome to Pockly! Pockly is a managed PocketBase hosting service run by Connor Merk. By using Pockly, you agree to the following terms.
1. Use of Service
- Each instance is manually set up, maintained, and monitored by Connor Merk.
- You are responsible for the content and applications you host on Pockly.
- Pockly is provided “as-is” and while we do our best to keep everything online, downtime may occur during maintenance or unforeseen events.
2. Billing
- Subscription fees are charged monthly as listed on the website.
- No automated refunds are offered, but customer satisfaction is a priority — if something goes wrong, contact us at contact@connormerk.dev.
3. Resources
- Each plan comes with the listed maximum or dedicated resources. “Build” plans have shared resources, “Scale” plans have partial reserved resources, and “Ship” plans have fully reserved resources.
- There are no bandwidth, request, or data usage caps, but performance depends on plan limits.
4. Backups
- Backups are performed according to your plan (frequency and retention listed on the pricing page).
- It is your responsibility to maintain additional backups if needed.
5. Account Termination
- Connor Merk may terminate an account if it violates these terms, engages in illegal activity, or threatens system stability.
- Users may cancel anytime by emailing contact@connormerk.dev.
6. Liability
- Pockly is not liable for lost data, downtime, or other damages beyond our direct control.
- You acknowledge the service is indie-run and manually maintained, and that we make reasonable efforts to provide reliable hosting.
